Apple with Leaf​

This apple has a good strong set of shoulders which taper down to a narrowed waist. There’s a bit of interplay between the curve of the leaf and the fruit’s slightly undulating rise.

I set the apple on overturned steel berry baskets or sleek black cubes to make the presentation important. Color plays a part in giving this trio a little style and rhythm. They can take up residence on a kitchen shelf, or as a large glistening apple in the garden.

New York doesn’t have a lock on this one. It can live anywhere.
